Firewall options include generic proxy, which supports HTTPS and SSL. SecureFX also provides the ability to run multiple instances of the application and support for IPv6. SecureFX supports AES, 3DES, RC4, Blowfish, and Twofish ciphers. Authentication methods include password, and public-key authentication, as well as Kerberos v5 authentication via GSSAPI. RSA and DSA key formats are supported for host keys and public keys. If you need both terminal emulation and file transfer, SecureCRT and SecureFX can share global and session options and host key database so configuring a connection only needs to be done once.
